For details on specific state legislation on human trafficking you can visit the Polaris Project Website, as well as the website of Shared Hope International. There is currently only one state that still has not passed a law on human trafficking in the U.S – Wyoming. All other states have at least one law. Unfortunately many states have not passed strong enough legislation to actually prosecute traffickers under, as well as develop a good response in terms of victim identification and care. Many are in the progress of passing new and improved legislation to combat human trafficking. If you have any questions regarding your states policies please contact us and we can provide you with relevant information.
